president's Welcome letter

Dear Colleague,

I’d like to welcome you to our third year as an independent chapter of ACHE! As we look forward to rolling out the many exciting educational programs and initiatives planned for 2010, the CHEF leadership team is committed to adding value to your ACHE membership by fostering greater member participation in our events, reaching out to CHEF members in new and useful ways, and increasing our internet presence.

Some of the things we have planned for 2010 include a major re-design of the CHEF website, which we previewed at our annual meeting on February 15. We will be adding new website functionality such as discussion boards, an event calendar, career opportunity postings, member directory, online surveys, and video downloads developed by our partner, InTimeTV.com. Our goal is to make the CHEF website an indispensable, “go to” resource for staying in touch with your colleagues.

As your Chapter President for 2010, I would also like your feedback on how we are doing as a Chapter. Finally, on behalf of the CHEF leadership team, we thank you for your support and look forward to meeting you at one of our upcoming events.
